Summary
The paper presents the development of mineralogical research on bodies of extraterrestrial origin, conducted in a period from 1749 to 1969. Minerals of meteorites and those of lunar rocks are presented in tables. It is also demonstrated that at present the development of cosmic space research highly affected an increasing interest in cosmomineralogy.
